Description: The governing bodies had imposed and engine displacement limit of to cubic-inches, and for many Midget racers, the start-of-the-art Offenhauser engine was too expensive. It was the USAC Champion for Fred Kurtis founded Kurtis-Kraft as something of a compulsion. The simple fact is that components for pre-WWII engines are not as abundant and scarcity makes them more valuable. It was freshly restored by the late Ken Hickey and acquired from a Pennsylvania collection.
